Plan your week

The 15-minute weekly reset

A weekly reset has three steps. First, collect unfinished commitments in one list. Second, choose up to three outcomes that would make the next week worthwhile. Third, give each outcome a small next action and a realistic calendar block. Leave open time for interruptions. An outcome describes a result, such as sending a proposal; a task describes an action, such as drafting its outline. If everything feels urgent, identify deadlines and consequences before choosing your three outcomes.

Do the work

Start a useful focus block

A focus block begins with one visible deliverable. Write what you want to have finished, choose a 25-minute timer, silence optional notifications, and close unrelated tabs. Put distracting thoughts on a parking list instead of acting on them. At the end, record what changed and choose the next action. If 25 minutes feels too hard, begin with ten minutes. This is a practice framework, not a promise that every task will fit into one block.

Review and recover

Close the day without losing your place

Spend five minutes closing the workday. Record what you completed, move unfinished work to your trusted list, and write the first useful action for tomorrow. Check tomorrow's calendar before choosing that action. A missed plan is information: ask whether the next action was unclear, the time estimate was unrealistic, or an interruption changed your priorities. Adjust the plan rather than treating an unfinished task as a personal failure.
